Program Requirements
To qualify for PG&E's Residential Charging Solutions rebate, you'll need to meet these requirements.
Active PG&E Account
You must have an active PG&E residential electric account (SAID and 11-digit account number).
Approved Charger
Your charger must be on PG&E's pre-approved equipment list and purchased on or after November 17, 2023.
Licensed Installation
Hard-wired chargers require installation by a licensed California electrician. NeoCharge Smart Splitters can be self-installed.
EV Registration
You need a current DMV registration for a battery electric (BEV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at your PG&E service address.
Income-Qualified? Get 100% Back
If your household meets county-specific income limits or is enrolled in programs like CalFresh, LIHEAP, Medi-Cal, or WIC, you may qualify for Rebate Plus — covering 100% of your charger's purchase price.
